What is Simple PostgreSQL?

Simple PostgreSQL is a desktop app for managing PostgreSQL databases. It includes connection management, schema browsing, SQL query workflows, and focused CSV import/export tools.

Which platforms are supported?

The public download is currently for macOS 12 or later, with Apple Silicon and Intel builds available.

Where are my database credentials stored?

Database credentials stay on your machine. Simple PostgreSQL does not upload your database credentials or database contents to our servers. Connection profiles are stored in the app's local data directory.

Why do I need to sign in?

Email sign-in manages your trial, license, and billing access. Database connections are still made directly from your Mac to the PostgreSQL servers you configure.

How long is the free trial?

New users get a 14-day free trial with access to the app before subscribing.

What does it cost?

Simple PostgreSQL costs $59 per year or $7 per month. Both plans include every feature and are intended for one user on one machine at a time.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the billing portal, or contact support if you need help.

Licensing

Can I move my license to another computer?

Licenses are bound to one machine at a time. Contact support when you need to move your license to a new device.

Do I need to be online?

You need internet access for account login, license validation, billing, and updates. Database connections are made directly from your machine to your configured PostgreSQL servers.
